How to Redeem Spin a Catboy Codes
From the HUD button to a pack sitting on your Base.
Redeeming a Spin a Catboy code is a 30-second job if the HUD is visible and a five-minute mess if storage is full or you paste a Kitty string by accident. This page walks the live Roblox experience, not a generic simulator checklist.
The only corroborated strings are ILOVECATS and RELEASE, printed on the official description for place 116850273341388. Everything else on the internet is either expired, invented, or copied from another pack game. Keep the codes hub open in a second tab while you follow the steps below.
Before you touch the redeem box
Load into a public server. Max population is six, so you are not fighting a 50-player lobby for UI space. Wait until the Base appears and the Welcome to Spin A Catboy badge has a chance to fire. If the world is still a loading skybox, the Codes button may not exist yet.
Check three things:
- You are in Spin a Catboy by Mugpugs, not Spin a Kitty, Spin a Fem, or a catalog avatar game.
- Your inventory is not jammed with unplaced commons. More Storage is a 49 Robux pass if you are already overflowing; otherwise sell or place units first.
- You can paste. On mobile, copy ILOVECATS from this page rather than typing on a tiny keyboard.
If a 2X tag is in the experience title, redeem before you open paid packs. Free grants stretch further when cash is doubled.
PC redeem steps
- Click Play on the Roblox experience page.
- After spawn, scan the right side of the screen. Incremental HUDs from this genre pin Codes, shop, and index in a vertical stack.
- Open Codes. You should see a text field and a Claim or Redeem button.
- Paste
ILOVECATSwith no space at the end. Click Claim. - Close the success toast, clear the field, paste
RELEASE, and claim again. - Open the pack or cash popup immediately. If a pack appears, open it before you walk to the Skill Tree.
- Place the new Catboy on the Base. Offline Earnings will not tick on a unit stuck in the backpack.
If the button is missing, try the Settings cog, then scroll. A few Mugpugs UI builds tuck redeem under a Twitter bird or a gift icon instead of the word Codes. Do not join a different server hoping the box moves; the UI is per client, not per plot.
Mobile and console notes
On a phone, the right-side stack can hide under the jump button. Rotate to landscape if the Codes label is clipped. Long-press the field to paste; Roblox mobile often blocks auto-fill from third-party keyboards.
On console, you cannot paste. Type ILOVECATS slowly. The letter O is the letter O, not a zero. RELEASE has no numbers. If the on-screen keyboard inserts a space after the last letter, delete it before confirming.
Gamepad users should avoid opening the Roblox menu over the redeem field. That combo eats the first claim on some Android TV builds.
What a good claim looks like
A valid code grants at least one of: cash, packs, or a named item. The official description does not publish the payload, so trust the in-game toast, not a rumor table. Screenshot the grant on your first redeem so you can compare later if Mugpugs retunes the gift.
A failed claim usually says Invalid, Expired, or Already Redeemed. Already Redeemed is success in disguise; that account already ate the code. Invalid means the string is wrong or belongs to another game. Expired means the expired list needs a new row.
Never redeem on a second account expecting the same gift twice from one Roblox user. Codes are per account, not per server.
After the claim: spend order
Codes are not a win. They are fuel.
- Packs go first. Secrets are 1/100 in Eclipse, 1/150 in 50B crates, and 1/100,000 in the cheap ones. A free pack is still a roll; treat it with the same respect as a paid one. Odds live on the Secret guide.
- Cash goes to empty Base slots, then to the cheapest income upgrade, then to a savings pile for 50B packs.
- Do not dump a code into Mutation Hunter. That is a 799 Robux pass, not a redeemable string.
If you are brand new, jump to the getting started route the moment both codes clear. The Skill Tree can wait until something is actually earning.
Troubleshooting
The box rejects a correct code. Leave and rejoin once. Do not mash Claim; some remotes debounce and look like failures.
You clipped ILOVE CATS with a space. The live string is one word. Re-copy from the codes hub.
Storage is full. Place or sell before the second code. The grant can vanish into a silent fail on a full backpack.
You used a list from another wiki. Those dice codes will never work here. Spin a Catboy opens Packs, it does not roll Kitty dice.
When a new string appears in the description, add it to the hub first, then this page. The code checker only helps you copy; it cannot tell you if Mugpugs retired RELEASE overnight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Where is the Codes button in Spin a Catboy?
Usually on the right side of the HUD after your Base loads. Some builds use a gift or Twitter icon instead of the word Codes.
Can I redeem on mobile?
Yes. Copy ILOVECATS and RELEASE from the codes hub and paste them one at a time.
What if it says already redeemed?
That account already claimed the code. You will not get a second grant on the same Roblox user.
Should I redeem before opening packs?
Yes. Claim first, then open, then place the Catboy on the Base so Offline Earnings can start.
