Getting Started in Spin a Catboy

You spawned in a six-player lobby, a white-haired Catboy thumbnail is still in your head, and the HUD is already offering packs. This is the first-hour plan for Spin a Catboy on Roblox. It assumes you have never opened a crate in this experience and that you would rather not spend 50B on the worst pack in the shop.

Mugpugs launched the game on 14 July 2026. The loop is written on the description: Packs, Catboys, Base upgrades, Catboy upgrades, Skill Tree, Offline Earnings. Your job in hour one is to make that loop real on your plot, not to hunt Super Secrets.

Minute 0–5: join, badge, codes

Play from the official experience. The Welcome to Spin A Catboy badge is a freebie with a 100% win rate, so it should pop quickly. That badge is proof you are in the right place, not a Secret.

Open Codes on the right and redeem ILOVECATS then RELEASE. Both are printed on the live description. If either fails, read how to redeem before you assume they expired. Do not paste Kitty dice codes.

Place whatever the codes gave you. An unplaced Catboy is a brick. Offline Earnings only tick on units that sit on the Base.

Minute 5–20: open cheap packs with a purpose

The shop will tempt you. Cheap packs exist so new accounts can fill slots. They also hide Secrets at 1/100,000, which is not a plan. Open enough cheap packs to fill every empty Base slot with something that pays, then stop.

Eclipse packs at 1/100 and 50B packs at 1/150 are the real Secret engines. You will not afford a stack of those in the first twenty minutes unless the code grant was enormous. Save toward one 50B pack rather than opening twenty trash crates “for luck.”

Minute 20–40: Base first, pretty units second

Upgrade the Base whenever a slot is empty or an income node is cheap. A common Catboy on an upgraded plot beats a rare Catboy in the backpack. This is the mistake that makes incremental games feel slow.

Upgrade individual Catboys only after the plot is full. Spend on the highest earner you actually placed, not the one with the coolest thumbnail. The Catboys hub explains rarity bands; the Catboy tier list is what to keep when storage gets tight.

More Storage costs 49 Robux if you are drowning. In hour one, sell duplicate commons instead. You can buy the pass later.

Minute 40–55: touch the Skill Tree once

Open the Skill Tree and buy the cheapest global income or luck node you can afford. Then leave. The tree is an account multiplier. It is not a place to dump every coin on day one. The Skill Tree guide shows how to avoid the “pretty node that does nothing” trap.

If you own extra Robux and you already hate pack animations, Auto Skip is 79. LUCK is 119. 2X CASH is 59 and is the most honest income pass. Mutation Hunter at 799 is not a first-hour purchase.

Minute 55–60: log out on purpose

Walk away with:

• Every Base slot filled.
• Codes claimed.
• At least one Skill Tree node bought.
• A mental note of how much a 50B pack costs so you can save for it.

Then read offline earnings so you understand why that walk-away is progress. Come back, collect, and only then chase Secrets using how to get Secrets.

If you want to submit your own Catboy, wait until you have seen the roster. The in-game form is documented on community submissions. Harriet already made it in as a badge; yours can too, but it will not speed up hour one.

That is the whole start. No hidden combat tutorial. No map to explore. Just packs, plots, and patience.
